BAKHITA KIDS

A New Way to Give and Receive

What We Do

Bakhita Kids is a non-profit organization whose mission has two parts: to fill the gap between donors and trusted partners/organizations who serve children living in poverty, ages 0-13; and to raise awareness of child and teen human trafficking. Our target area for both parts of our mission are in the states of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. 100% of your donations go directly to the children.

We Fill in the Gap
with Supplies

With supplies Bakhita Kids helps children by receiving donations and with every dollar you give, the children get supplies. We help with food, clothing, diapers, education and more.

We team with local trusted advisors and established organizations who help children with every changing day. (Bakhita Kids vets all organizations we work with.) If a request comes to Bakhita Kids, within 24-48 hours supplies are sent.

Since day one, we have said yes to every child within our guidelines and bylaws.

100% of donated funds go to the children we serve, since we have no overhead costs.

Human Trafficking Awareness

Bakhita Kids aims to bring awareness of human trafficking in our OWN BACKYARDS in Northern Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.

By the time a child starts showing signs often attributed to being trafficked , they may be fully entrenched in this illegal activity. Human Trafficking treats the most vulnerable like property, controlled through manipulation, threats and violence to the victims or their families.

The average age a teen enters the sex trade in the
US is
12 to 14 years old. However, preteens are being groomed and children are trafficked locally after school. Children as young as 3 years old have
been trafficked.
