Bakhita Kids Donates $5,000 Towards Food Drive

The Founder of Bakhita Kids, Barbara Froio, donated $5,000 to the St. Roch group who delivers food to up to 200 families every 10 days in Charles Town, Martinsburg and other surrounding areas. Barbara Froio, along with volunteers from St. Roch, and volunteers in Martinsburg, West Virginia, helped personally deliver the groceries on May 22, 2020. 

Bakhita Kids is currently aiming to assist St. Roch with another food drive, for distribution on Father's Day, June 21, 2020. The fundraising goal for this project is $1,600, which would cover the cost for 50 boxes of food, containing chicken, fresh vegetables, and fruit.
